Storybook Art: Harold and the Purple Crayon – Drawing with Wire

  • Walla Walla Public Library 238 East Alder Street Walla Walla, WA, 99362 United States (map)

One evening Harold decides to go for a walk in the moonlight. Armed only with an oversize purple crayon, young Harold draws himself a landscape full of wonder and excitement. In this Storybook Art session, children will create a drawing with wire art project.

Join us for Storybook Art a new children’s program series at the Walla Walla Public Library.  The sessions are offered once a month from 2:30 – 4:00pm on Wednesdays to provide an after-school enrichment program for elementary age students following early dismissal from public schools.  Each lesson will include storytelling, Artful Thinking and art making projects inspired by and connected to the featured children’s literature book.
