art intervention project

In 2021, we piloted the Art Scholar project in partnership with Davis Elementary School in College Place. Art Scholar sessions are designed to engage students struggling with academic, behavioral, and/or social challenges in creative and expressive activities. Thanks to funding from the Sunny Day Charitable Foundation and Exchange Club of Walla Walla, we are able to expand Art Scholar programming for the 2022-23 school year.

Summer Learning

Carnegie Picture Lab provides innovative and creative opportunities for summer art making including a partnership with the Walla Walla School District’s Summer Sol program and our Young Artist Summer Series. Utilizing a variety of formats including media specific workshops and open studio models, young people can experience a variety of artistic media through fun and engaging sessions.
