creativity curated school program

Access is a key priority for us - all children should be able to experience art, regardless of ability, language, or socioeconomic status. School is the best way to reach all children, that is why we have prioritized returning to classrooms.

Picture Lab is responsive to the needs of students and schools by providing high quality, consistent lesson delivery as well as tiered lessons by grade level which include grade specific national standards. Our mission is to deliver dynamic, innovative, and transformative art programs. We believe this can best be achieved by a comprehensive, creative, curated portfolio of art lessons that both fit the needs of a school community and deepen artistic experiences and education for students. Our frequent and consistent presence in schools allow us to address state standards, develop artistic literacy, empower artistic self-expression, and create greater impact.

Our Creativity Curated School Program provides instruction for elementary grades in our partner schools with a curriculum that focuses on contemporary and diverse artists in providing art instruction and opportunities for creative/personal artistic expression. Lessons include Artful Thinking exercises, art making, and reflection opportunities.

Continuing our partnership with Walla Walla Public Schools, we are serving all the students in their five Elementary Schools during the 2023-2024 school year; by offering a high quality, inclusive, and culturally responsive curriculum.
