Drawing Description with Charcoal

Early 16th century German engraver and print maker during the Northern Renaissance. He was a master of detail.

OBJECTIVE: Using charcoal drawing to translate a word definition of an animal into a visual representation. During the Power point the children will take a moment to write the description without giving the name. These will be redistributed to another child, who will use it to create a detailed drawing. Each Child will be given their charcoal at the end of class, the tools will remain with the Box, the newsprint comes from the Union Bulletin.
