Learning about the artists AND the different styles of art–it gets them thinking about what art is and what it means to them. I think the projects help them see themselves and each other as artists!

Thank you for providing this program to our students. We are truly appreciative and value the dedicated volunteers that make this program a reality.

Picture Lab exposes my students to artists and art forms that they may never have experienced. It allows them the opportunity to try something new and work with different materials. It may also be the way that some students feel the most success, if they struggle in academic areas.

The students discovered artists I wouldn’t have highlighted and used media I frankly can’t afford. Thank you so much for those opportunities

We don’t have much time for the arts, so Picture Lab really helps with introducing students to art and well known artists so they get inspired–and so do teachers.
